Wanted Pineville Man Now in Jail

PINEVILLE, La. – A man who was wanted for trafficking children for sexual purposes, has been arrested.

Officers with the Pineville Police Department say 38-year-old Lavelle Davis forced two juveniles to have “inappropriate sexual relations” with him.

Davis had a warrant put out for his arrest, and Monday afternoon, police say they found the suspect at Union Park on North Bolton Avenue in Alexandria.

He was booked into the Rapides Parish Jail.

Davis is facing a list of charges, including 5 counts of sexual battery, 4 counts of pornography involving juveniles, 5 counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile, and 9 counts of trafficking children for sexual purposes.
